Winston-Salem police arrested 42-year-old Ronell Williams on July 14 after he fled from a traffic stop while riding an ATV in the Miller Park area. Officers located Williams on Elderwood Avenue and attempted to stop him, but he fled and later assaulted an officer during the arrest. He faces charges of assault on a government official, resisting a public officer, and ten traffic violations, including failure to heed blue lights and driving without insurance. The ATV was seized, and Williams was issued a $2,000 bond. No injuries were reported.
