Winston-Salem police are asking for the community’s help in finding two missing teenagers who were last seen together Monday night.
Authorities said Michael Banks, 13, and Jamontez Hawkins, 16, were spotted in the 3600 block of Old Vineyard Road before they disappeared. The Winston-Salem Police Department (WSPD) confirmed the pair left the area together, though investigators do not know if they are still traveling with each other.
Michael is described as a Black male, standing 6 feet tall and weighing about 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and short pants.
Jamontez is also a Black male. He is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs around 135 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes, police said.
The boys’ families and law enforcement are urging the public to stay alert and report any information that could help bring them home safely.
