WINSTON-SALEM — Police are investigating a Sunday night shooting that left a 21-year-old man injured in the 3600 block of Cedar Springs Drive.
Officers responded around 9:23 p.m. and found Phillip Delane Lucas suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital with injuries considered non-life-threatening, according to the Winston-Salem Police Department.
Investigators say the case remains active as they work to determine what led to the shooting. No additional details were immediately released.
