Two men were injured Wednesday after a stolen vehicle being pursued by Winston-Salem police crashed into their car. The chase began around 6:33 p.m. on North Cleveland Avenue when officers attempted to stop the stolen vehicle, which fled after striking a patrol car.
The chase ended at East 25th Street and North Jackson Avenue when the fleeing car collided with another vehicle. One man in the struck car declined medical treatment, while the other was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Three men in the stolen vehicle—Aki Jama Sincere Hannah (21), Edwin Graciano (23), and Jermaine Derelle Stubbs Jr. (25)—were hospitalized. Police believe Hannah was the driver. Stubbs, already a convicted felon, faces charges of possessing a stolen vehicle and illegal firearms. He remains in the Forsyth County Jail under a $51,000 bond and is due in court June 6.
