Alexandra Patton was sentenced Monday to 51 to 74 months in prison after pleading guilty to accessory after the fact to second-degree murder in the January 2024 shooting death of 21-year-old Damilyon Raekwon Monroe in Clemmons.
According to the Forsyth County District Attorney’s Office, Patton had arranged a drug sale with Monroe via social media. When she and two others arrived at the 6000 block of Blue Bonnet Lane, Monroe and a male co-defendant got into a physical fight over the drugs. During the altercation, Monroe was shot in the abdomen and later died at the scene.
Patton remained in the vehicle during the incident but later directed the driver to pick up the shooter at a nearby shopping center. She was charged as an accessory after assisting in the escape.
