On Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at approximately 2:08 a.m., Winston-Salem police responded to a shooting at 201 Dalewood Drive. Officers located 20-year-old Jacob Riley Diehl in the parking lot with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel.
Investigators believe Diehl was targeted. No arrests have been made at this time.
